Our Programmes
Three Programmes, One Purpose
Each programme addresses a different stage of financial reading — from the household budget, through fund documents, to the transition out of full-time work. Read through the detail below to find the right starting point.

How Every Programme Works
Every Anong Finance programme follows the same underlying approach, regardless of the topic. Sessions are working meetings, not lectures. Participants arrive, receive their materials, and begin working through their own documents or worksheets. The facilitator circulates, guides, and answers questions individually rather than delivering a one-size presentation to the group as a whole.
This model requires small groups — we cap every cohort at eight participants — and it requires facilitators who can move between individual situations rather than holding the room with a single line of instruction. It also requires that each participant is genuinely working with their own situation, not a case study or a fictional scenario. What participants produce during the session, they take home.
Clarity over action
The aim is understanding, not instruction. Participants are not told what to do — they are helped to see their own position more clearly.
Private within the group
Personal figures are never shared between participants. The facilitator works with individuals privately within the group setting.
Materials you keep
Every programme includes printed materials for continued use after the sessions — worksheets, glossaries, or planning workbooks depending on the programme.
Post-session written support
Participants may send written questions by email after each session. The facilitator responds personally within three business days.
Programme One
Reading the Household's Own Numbers
A two-session workshop in which each participant draws up a simple, accurate picture of their household's monthly position. Income, regular outgoings, occasional outgoings, and what remains. The facilitator provides a printed worksheet developed specifically for the Thai household and walks through it with each participant individually within the session. The aim is clarity rather than immediate action — participants take their completed worksheet home for private reflection.
- Printed Thai household budget worksheet
- Individual facilitation within group setting
- Confidentiality maintained throughout
- Post-session email support included
Session Structure
Session one: participants complete the income and regular outgoings sections of the worksheet, with individual guidance from the facilitator.
Session two: occasional outgoings and remaining figures are completed, and participants review the overall picture of their monthly position.
Programme Two
The Quiet Reading of Funds
A four-session evening programme on the patient reading of mutual-fund and provident-fund materials in Thailand. The facilitator walks through factsheets, fund prospectuses, and the long-running historical record of various fund categories. The aim is fluency in reading rather than recommendation — no specific funds are discussed, and no investment decisions are suggested. Includes a reference glossary and a small recommended reading list for independent study.
- Thai fund terminology glossary (English)
- Factsheet and prospectus reading practice
- Historical fund category overview
- Evening schedule for working adults
- Recommended reading list included
Session Structure
Introduction to Thai fund categories and the regulatory landscape. Reading the cover page and summary of a factsheet.
Working through performance data, fee tables, and risk classifications in factsheets across different fund types.
Reading fund prospectuses: purpose, investment policy, and redemption conditions.
Historical records and long-term fund category patterns. How to maintain an ongoing reading practice independently.
Programme Three
The Considered Year for the Soon-to-Retire
A small-group programme of four sessions for participants in the final years of full-time work who would like to walk through the practicalities of the transition. Topics include the timing of provident fund elections, the considerations of partial-retirement arrangements, the structure of Thai Social Security entitlements at the point of retirement, and the gentle reading of one's own household budget against anticipated changes in income and outgoings. A printed planning workbook is provided.
- Printed retirement planning workbook
- Thai provident fund election guidance
- Thai Social Security at retirement covered
- Household budget under changed conditions
- Post-session written support
Session Structure
Provident fund elections: options, timelines, and what each choice means in practice.
Partial retirement and phased-work arrangements: what they look like, and how they interact with Social Security contributions.
Thai Social Security at retirement: entitlements, timing, and the application process.
Reading the household budget under anticipated changes: income reduction, new outgoings, and the picture going forward.
