Reading Your Own Numbers,
At Your Own Pace
Small-group financial education workshops for adults 40 and above — household budgeting, fund literacy, and retirement transition. Held in Bangkok, in English, with a calm and considered approach.
Our Programmes
Three Workshops, One Direction
Each programme is designed for participants who want to read their own financial situation more clearly — not to be told what to do, but to understand their own position with more confidence.
Reading the Household's Own Numbers
A two-session workshop where each participant draws up a clear picture of their household's monthly figures — income, regular outgoings, occasional costs, and what remains. A printed worksheet, developed for the Thai household, is provided.
- Printed worksheet included
- Individual guidance within group
- Strictly confidential process
- 2 sessions
The Quiet Reading of Funds
A four-session evening programme on reading mutual-fund and provident-fund materials with confidence. The facilitator walks through factsheets, prospectuses, and historical records — building fluency rather than giving recommendations.
- Reference glossary provided
- Evening sessions for working adults
- Recommended reading list included
- 4 sessions
The Considered Year for the Soon-to-Retire
A small-group programme of four sessions for those in the final years of full-time work. Topics include provident fund elections, partial-retirement arrangements, Thai Social Security entitlements, and reading your own budget against anticipated change.
- Printed planning workbook
- Thai Social Security covered
- Small group of 4–8 participants
- 4 sessions
Why Anong Finance
What Distinguishes This Approach
Strict Confidentiality
Personal numbers are never shared between participants. Each person works through their own worksheet privately within the group setting.
No Pressure, No Products
These workshops do not sell financial products. No fund is recommended, no policy pushed. The focus remains on reading and understanding.
Small Groups Only
Sessions are kept deliberately small so the facilitator can give attention to each participant's individual situation and pace.
Thailand-Specific Content
Materials are built around Thai household patterns, Thai provident and mutual funds, and Thai Social Security — not adapted from foreign templates.
Designed for Working Adults
Evening and weekend sessions are available so participants do not need to rearrange their working week.
Take-Home Materials
Printed worksheets, glossaries, and planning workbooks are provided for participants to continue working at their own pace after each session.
